Cardiac Physiology is a friendly and supportive team that requires a Cardiac Rhythm Device management (CRM) Invasive Healthcare Science Support worker to assist with the day to day administration for the department and support the clinical service. The role will include contact with patients and their relatives, GP's, external and internal medical staff, administration and clerical staff. This is a fixed term, part time post of 30 hours per week Monday to Friday for 12 months.

Chaperoning
CRM remote monitor education, maintenance and clinical risk stratification
Ensuring CRM equipment is logged and kept to a high standard.
Providing a high quality, patient focused support.
Ensuring the electronic medical records (EMR) and the devices database, Fysicon are up to date.
To coordinate with the booking office, multi discipline team (MDT) coordinators and research staff to ensure all booking processes are accurate and as streamlined as possible.

Have knowledge and experience at simple foundation level enabling routine and non-routine delivery of care acquired through training and experience equivalent to NVQ Level 3, Vocational level 3, GSCE AS and A level or Baccalaureate Qualification Advanced or equivalent level of knowledge.
GCSE AS and A level or Baccaulureate Qualification in English & Maths.
Royal Society of Arts (RSA) certification of typing skills
The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)
Good Interpersonal skills
Organisational Skills
Able to work and transport equipment to hospitals within the region.
Experience of database entry
Experience of working in the NHS
Experience of working in an office environment
Able to carry out Invasive tests at a simple foundation level.
Knowledge of Lorenzo and CVIS
Knowledge of Cardiac Rhythm Devices
Ability to communicate simple foundation clinical information in written and verbal formats
Drive and hold a current driving licence.
